Every business major is required to take either MAN 336 (Organizational Behavior) or OM 335 (Operations Management). What are the main differences between these courses and which one is easier and more chillax? Also, does anyone have any recommendations on professors to take or avoid?

I took both of these classes so I can give you my opinion. I found MAN 336 to be a lot easier than OM 335. OM 335 requires more math and the I just found the material complicated. MAN 336 was a lot easier for me. Also, if you take MAN 336, then definitely take it with Edwards.

Thanks, what do you do (generically) in these courses? Do you do a lot of class presentations in the MAN course as I would imagine?

One class presentation in man336. Mostly in class activities that are pretty unique.

Unless you plan to go into Advertising or something like that, not taking Operations Management will place you at a real disadvantage in the real world.

It’s amazing to me that so many smart students never really prioritize their criteria for making decisions. IF you ever make to a CEO position at some significant company, please let us know, so we can make some serious $ shorting the stock in your company.

@quant what a moron…

Which part do you have a problem with, in terns of my IQ or logic?

Operations Management is a course that Business Students should skip, if they can?

It’s important to prioritize criteria for decision-making

You would go Long equity in a company where the CEO made a deliberate decision to not take an Operations Class, when he/she had a chance?
