So I was going to send in my last college app, and the site wouldn't allow me to send my app because it was "incomplete." So I go to check and it and apparently I didn't fill out the "required explanation" for disciplinary violations/education interruptions/honorary discharge. I changed high schools after freshman year, so my guidance counselor said to put "did or will change secondary schools" under education interruptions. HOWEVER, I applied to a bunch of schools before with the same exact app, and I NEVER had to fill out the required explanation. It showed up when I logged on after like 3 weeks. Can someone please explain to me what's going on?!

Ok so I went back thru my app, and on the “armed force status” which I had previously left blank, I put "no relationship. Now the required explanation is gone. I am so confused but I’m just gonna go ahead and send my app

never mind it’s back again *** is going on

Just write that you changed schools from A to B and you can be done with it. However, you might consider explaining why that change happened and if there was anything significant that stemmed from it.

Yea that’s what I did. The reason I changed schools was because my family moved and my gpa is actually way better at my new school. It’s just wierd because I didn’t have to give a required explanation for any of my other apps even tho I checked off “did or will change secondary schools”
