Free Application for Federal Student Aid
Parent/s' Federal Income Tax Return
Parent/s' W-2 Forms
Financial Aid Attestations
Student's Federal Income Tax Return
Student's W-2 Forms</p>

<p>Do I need to submit ALL of these before I am given a FA award? I don't have student federal income tax return or student w-2 forms, and I'm not sure what financial aid attestations are.</p>

<p>Also, I was told in my early financial aid estimate form that if I submit all required documents by January 1, 2012, I will get a response by February 1, 2012. I have my CSS profile already completed, but with 2011 data since it is not 2012 yet...</p>

<p>Until they see your actual 2011 tax forms and W2s from you and parents - whatever you’ve been given is an estimate and non-binding.</p>

<p>You’ll get a package and it will come with standard legalize saying this is subject to verification. So if you left anything out in the info requested from ED materials and/or miscalculated the package could change.</p>

<p>Verification is done thru CSS Profile which require a ton of documents- most noteably -W2s.</p>
