Too late for financial aid?

Hi, I went to "Where Am I in the process" and this is what it said for fin aid

Financial Aid Documents Needed
Date Received Document
CSS Financial Aid/PROFILE
16-mar-2012 Free Application for Federal Student Aid
Parent/s' Federal Income Tax Return
Parent/s' W-2 Forms
Financial Aid Attestations
Student's Federal Income Tax Return
Student's W-2 Forms

Basically I've only submitted the FAFSA. How do I turn in my other forms? Is there a website or do I mail it to them? Thanks!

Lol you sound like me last year. I only had the FAFSA at this time of year in. The deadline is April 15th I believe, so you can still apply, and I ended up getting a very nice financial aid package as well.

Google css profile on collegeboard, and it will bring you to that form (long one…like a super detailed FAFSA) which you will need a collegeboard user/pw for. (You probably have already if you took the SAT and all)

After you complete it, it will tell you how to do the IDOC’s which is how you submit everything else listed there minus the attestations. Basically you fill out a couple forms you print online, and mail it along with a copy of your parent’s tax return (and yours if you make income) to the address they give you and they relay it to CMU.
The attestations can be finished through Where am I in the process I believe. It is just a 30 second agreement to make sure you understand the legal matters.

I advise sending the big envelope you send by overnight or something quick so it doesn’t drag along. I remember CMU gave me my financial aid package before even getting the IDOC’s, and then adjusted tmy package only slightly after receiving them.

Good luck! Financial aid application for CMU is a hassle compared to other schools that only need FAFSA, but it helps CMU understand your financial status better.
