<p>No no. I got a 5 in BC calculus and started my freshman year with Calculus 2. The 5 on BC only places you out of calc 1. If you want to place out of calc 2 and go straight to calc 3, you need to take NYU’s own placement test which is given during welcome week. You definitely can’t take Linear Algebra without Calculus 3.
Economics I’m not sure about. If youre taking Econ principles, then you’re fine.</p>
