Required readings?

List the required readings you enjoyed most in the past year:

What is this supposed to mean?

Readings which your High school forces on you as part of the coursework. Mine was a play by Shakespeare.

Thanks mate

do required readings have to be what the school forces on you? I'm part of this internship and we were required to read a couple of books...I'm putting them under required reading...or would it belong under "just for fun" reading?

I assumed "required" to be any sort of text you were told to read for an assignment or such.

It really doesn't matter. We could split hairs on this ad nauseum -- e.g., if your teacher told you that you're required to write an essay on any Dickens novel, was it really "required" for you to read The Pickwick Papers -- but Columbia really doesn't care about this level of granularity.
