Requirement of some type of project for Indian applicants?

I just read some articles mentioning a requirement of some sort of project submission for admission process to MIT. This could be for Indian applicants. However, I could not find anything on the admission blogs. Please tell me if there is some sort of project submission thats required for admissions especially for Indian students and for undergraduate.</p>
