Will i get my admission Rescinded if i get a D in AP Chemistry? I have good test scores and i also am in Honors, however i just took my chemistry exam today and i think having a D is a very possible. Now i am worried.

most likely no.

What does most likely mean. I have 2 A’s a B, C most likely a D in Chem and Hopefully not a D in Calculus.

I only had about a 3.5 when i was admitted but i may have under 3.0 this semester. I’m worried.

it won’t go down that much. trust me.

It will. All ym grades are set except for these last 2. I have 2 A’s. 1 B, 1 C, and most liekly one if not 2 D’s. That will give me a 2.5 and possibly 2 D’s on my transcript. Can they rescind for that?

I doubt they will. Don’t stress it. Just wait and see your grades.

Anyone else have an opinion on RainMann’s situation? I am in a similar predicament.

i doubt they would. just keep working hard!

I’m in a similar situation. My final course grades are:

AP Bio-B
AP English Lit-C
Teacher Aide-A
AP Calc BC-B
AP Physics C-F
AP Gove/Econ-B

I got into UF, but now, because of the Physics grade, I’m scared they’ll rescind my admission. My GPA is still around 5.0. What do you guys think?

How’d you manage an F?

Long story, first off, I had never taken any form of physics. I managed a B the first 9 weeks, a C the second, an F on the midterm, D’s in both the third and fourth 9 weeks, and an F on the final exam. I don’t have the 5 points to pass the class in the second semester, so I automatically failed the class. Also, I was having problems at home where I nearly got kicked out and my mind wasn’t all there the second half the year. I could manage at least keeping the other class grades decent, but I couldn’t in Physics…

you can usually appeal these kinds of decisions
though i doubt 1 F out of 5 AP classes would call for much attention
