rescinded even though i maintain 3.0?

I remember looking through this forum a while ago and reading that one person actually got rescinded from UC Berkeley even though he/she maintained a 3.0 unweighted gpa and did not get any grades below a C, they still had their admissions revoked because their grade was too drastic of a change from previous transcripts.

is this true? because the conditions on the Cal site state that I only have to meet the 3.0 and no less than C terms, and it will be fine

Probably some special case. Just maintain the 3.0

Yeah, just maintain the 3.0. Don’t worry about it.

:D coolcakes. thanks !!

I actually have a somewhat related question. Does the 3.0 UW factor in college classes being taken in senior year or is it just high school UC approved courses?

Counts the a-g courses listed in the uc app

So my grade in a class taken at Cal State Fullerton wouldn’t be counted into the 3.0UW?

Well, I contacted Admissions and they said ALL senior-year classes regardless of school or uc a-g are counted.
