I was accepted early decision by a top 25 liberal arts college. after the first semester of my senior year my grades were as follows...

Latin 3/4=A-
British Lit.=A
AP Calc AB=C+
AP Economics=A-
AP Physics B=C+
AP Psychology=A

After first semester i told the college about my struggles and how i felt I had over extended myself in taking both calc and physics. They gave me permission to drop Calc. My second semester grades are as follows...

Latin 3/4=B-
British Lit.=B+
AP Economics=A
AP Physics B=D+ !!!!!
AP Psychology=A

Ok, so obviously i screwed up... what do i do know? any advice?

My advice is to avoid Calculus and Physics in college.
Enjoy freshman year.

thanks. I’m definitely never planning on taking either of those two course again… especially physics

so you dont think there is an chance of being rescinded?

At this point I doubt it. They will probably put you on academic watch first semester, with some required counseling for studying.

what exactly is “academic watch”?

They may require you to take some studying seminars and will look at your grades every half semester to make sure you are progressing academically. If you do well the first semester you won’t have to do it anymore.
