I was accepted to Harvard SCEA this year. My grades first semester were pretty good, all A's and a B (my first one ever) for an academic load of 6 AP classes. However, these are my grades currently:
AP Literature: A-
Orchestra: A
AP Chemistry: B-
AP Calculus BC: B+
AP Gov/Econ: A
AP Art History: A+
AP Spanish IV: A- (which more than likely will drop to a B)
Should I be worried? Lately I have been really busy with my extracurricular activities and studying for 7 AP tests so homework has been something of a secondary consideration.

no.

No, you are perfectly fine. As far as I know, admissions officers only notice drops of more than a full grade letter. If you get any C’s they might notice, but I doubt even that would prompt them to rescind you. Maybe a letter noting that they are disappointed (no doubt intended to scare you a little) but other than that, no, don’t worry about it at all.

D’s or F’s will probably prompt a review of your application and might result in rescission. B’s are fine, even C’s – not too many of them though.
