Does anyone know of any research conferences where students can present their research at? Thanks so much.

I only know of one such conference, hosted by UBC. It's planned for the end of August and I'm going to attend it this year. It's currently only for Canadians but I heard that it will become international in near future.

I am just curious, at these conferences, do students just present their projects or are there some kinds of awards given out? Aside from the prestige factor, what are the benefits of presenting one's research at a conference? Is it the future networking opportunities that one can make there by meeting new scientists and potentially being recruited by them into their labs?

Both. But the second one might vary across conferences. Some events have awards and others might not, though my guess is that most if not all give out awards.

Yes, but one more benefit I can think of right now: you get to learn more about your own project, broaden your research experience and, consequently, you'll be better able to answer research-related questions during your interview.
