Research Programs (Canada)

I'm really interested in doing some bio-related research this summer. There is a possibility that I'll get an internship at my local university, but if it doesn't work out I'd still like to do this somehow. So I was just wondering if you guys have heard of/attended any summer research programs in Canada. I would really appreciate any information you can give me! :] Thanks!

EDIT: The programs don't necessarily have to be in Canada. If there are any in the US that take Canadian citizens, I'd love to hear about them too! :]

Maybe [High School Summer Research Program - Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. and Yukon](http://www.heartandstroke.bc.ca/site/c.kpIPKXOyFmG/b.5261497/k.55D8/High_School_Summer_Research_Program.htm) ?

A Canadian did research at Clark Scholars in 2009. He’s at Harvard now :)

Thanks!
@chaseholl: I probably should have mentioned that I live in Ontario… my bad! I’ve heard of that, though, & it’s only for those provinces. :/

@iceui2: I’ve heard of Clark Scholars too… is the admission really competitive? Probably less than RSI though, right?

I’m not Canadian, so I wouldn’t really know anyway :P

Yes, Clark is highly competitive, although I’d say a bit less than RSI. It’s still very difficult–it’s free, they pay you a US$750 stipend, and only 12 people get selected. AKA really hard to get into.
