yo these "science nerds" will rock your world, who do you think invented the game?

im terrible at ultimate frisbee :-(.

but you know, in general, beyond games, nerds tend to rock. funny how that works.

LOL, I'm sure everyone who applies to RSI is somewhat of a "science nerd" LOL. Some more than others of course...;)

haha wait till you get in man, youll be way surprised by how non-nerdy most of the kids are, i def was

Really, they have ultimate? I barely know how to play, but sounds like fun.

I thought just going to MIT researching something you deep into with other people who are just as passionate as you are would be enough fun.

Surprising as it sounds, even that gets boring once in a while.

i suppose it would get boring after a while but within 6 weeks?!?

Besides, "enough" ain't the idea :)

I barely remember working at RSI. Ever. Except maybe the last week.

I didn't really do anything during hell week, lol.

yeah i barely did any work either, i put off my paper until the night before it was due and stayed up for like 6 hours writing it

then i spent 4 hours rewriting it at the lab

and then 3 hours straight revising it

keep in mind all of this time wasnt spent working, i def goofed off in between so prob 10 hours of work on my paper total.

haha... amount of (perceived) work varies widely, though. I don't think I attended/did any non-required social activity because I was too busy "working" on my project. Most Rickoids are well able to avoid this trap, it seems, but.. yeah. Social interaction is good :)

Thats very encouraging to hear. It just bothered me that it takes too much time to find this thread so I feel like moving it up.

I enjoy moving things, too.

Hey there naansian.

LOL Layman.

PSAT scores have arrrrived!!! Damn GC won't reveal anyhting...

Hi Mr. Layman. hehe. omgg my GC is going to have to talk if he wants if he doesnt want to witness my version of nervous breakdown which i think personally think is quite scary. cuz if i do decently well, i cant possibly sit in this saturday to take the SAT, i cant say ill pass.

omg psat! we got ours so late last year, like the day before break or something obscene.

I got mine in mid-January last year.

PSAT scores have arrived? Really?
How do you know?

GCs always get them earlier than us. They aren't allowed to tell us, though. We have to wait for the letter from CB.
