Research Science Institute ( RSI ) 2008

That's why I love Spring Break. :)

RSI research papers 2004

dang, that isoperimetric problem is sexy.

ooh, the ice spike paper looks incredible!

ice spikes is cool (pun unintentional). It falls under the heading of "how on earth did you get that idea?", but tis cool nonetheless.

Hahahaha, it's really good to know that all of the letters start with "Congratulations." That might help prevent any unnecessary heart attacks...

Yeah that's kinda mean of cee to start out with "Congrats," imo. I've always been a blunt person...I'd rather just get mailed a big red X or a nice green check to avoid the confusion of having to read 'til the second paragraph.

Where's privatecitizen?

Wha? Still here. I just don't have any more information. "Mid-week" is the last I heard.

wanna know how RSI selects kids?
lol!
do they come express usps? ups? flat rate envelope? or just standard first class mail?
They've always used ordinary first-class mail. All the letters look the same on the outside.

ahhhhhhh......i want these letters!

Out of curiosity, how many of the people here have taken (and gotten 5's)/are taking all of the AP and courses listed on the RSI app?

Calculus (Specify if AB/BC)
Linear Algebra
Statistics
Biology
Chemistry
Computer Science (A/AB)
Environmental Science
Physics (B/C)

I've done so for all of those, + multivar.

Calculus (Specify if AB/BC)
Linear Algebra
Biology
Chemistry
Physics (B/C)
multivariable

Uh, I haven't taken Physics, Linear Algebra, or Environmental Science. And I put that I was doing Calculus AB.

Calculus (BC)
Linear Algebra
Physics (C)
Chemistry
Environmental Science
Statistics

I haven't taken linear algebra either :( hopefully it shouldnt matter too much

Done: Calc AB, Physics B
Currently doing:
Calc BC, Environmental, Chemistry, Physics C, Statistics
i'm really not that strong in calc (haven't done multivar/diffeq) but hopefully good AMC/AIME makes up for that

i still don't even know how i did on the amc.

A-card, AMC scores were out a long time ago o_O

Done:
Calculus (BC)
Linear Algebra
Mult. Calculus
Statistics
Biology
Chemistry

Other: Abstract Algebra (some, from research), Java

Aps:
Done: Stats (5)
Doing: Physics C Mech, Physics C Emag, Calc BC, Enviro (indep), Linear (indep), Chem, CS A

Next year's multi, and I really want to get in to diff eq because like every cool physics class ever requires it. And it just seems cool for no real reason, but I imagine everyone on this board gets that feeling too, so yeah

Haha DMRenrel..I feel the same way! Something about the phrase "oh yea, I'm taking multivariable calculus" sounds cool
