Hey, so I was wondering how short term people got for question number 1. Is end of this school year not long term enough?

Hey- I am preparing my app. for RSI and I wonder if you can help me figure out a question. What do they mean by "List below your technical skills level and academic background as of 6/1/09"? Does the "technical skill level" mean science lab skills (bio and chem)? or computer skills? What do they want as "academic background" that is not obvious from a transcript? Thanks.

"You kno.. isn't that the type of writing colleges and summer programs particularly HATE cuz it has too much vocab and it sounds like u used the thesaurus a billion times??? (Just telling u.)"

Yeah.. this isn't mine.. some idiot senior who was writing this at 4 in the morning.

Umm...

wish you all the best of luck in the application process! i'm not applying (to be frank, i can't with my 194) but i hope all your math& science overachievers succeed in your endeavors :]

Does anyone have tips for cutting down to 3 pages besides changing margins or font size? I have already reduced margins somewhat, and am using Garamond size 11.

Yeah I'd rather not, it's about 2200 words and I'm sure it can be done as people have posted much larger wordcounts before. Anyone have some clever tips? Or do you think they won't mind 10.5 size font?
