I just sent mine.
hope my essays didn't suck..ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh I think they did! I'm gonna go crazy....

Still waiting for one of my recs... if I look at my application essays one more time, I KNOW I'm going to end up nitpicking at them again... ahhhh!

will not sending the processing fee hurt your chances?

wat do u mean by friday??? the mail only comes to places once a day -_-

I'm sorry, I'm starting to confuse my days. I meant Monday. If i sent it Monday, would it get there by Friday on time with priority shipping or would I need first class?

it should get there by then with priority mail :) this is probably why there won't accept the postmark now cuz so many people send in the RSI app late

Just sent mine a few hours ago. Now that I look back at my essays..they suck!!! like crap!! NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

hmmm, so statistics say that of the 21 listed on this board so far, about one will be chosen. I say three or four.

yikes.
Do you have backup programs if you don't get accepted? I was looking at the SHARP program, and I thought it looked pretty good.

I have like one maybe, or I might try for a NASA internship (paid actually)... idk. maybe I'll just sit at home and do research

wait isn't SHARP closed now??? oh and:

hey for #s 8 and 9 did you guys make a list or write it in paragraph form?

I'm waiting for one of my recs too..

I'm assuming list means you just list them like in bullet form. My number 7 is incredibly short.

So when are you guys mailing? I'm from California so I thought 5 days would be enough..so I sent it today just to get it over with. Which is why my answers to #2 are really unintelligent...almost sounds like b.s.

Don't worry. I don't think #2 is show-off time. The "why" question, I think, is what they are looking for.

list is what it asked for

so list in bulletin form then?
or list with commas separating?

is single space 11 pt font calibri with .25 in margins too much?

That should be fine. But why calibri? It looks slouchy. But I guess seeing that font every time I open word is a bit of an overkill.
