Which one would be the best? doing the research at summer?(REU I believe?) or do one during fall and spring semester (independent research supervised by the professor, which also provides around 3 credit)?

Is there something that’s preventing you from doing both? If you had to pick, I’d say go for the one that sounds more appealing to you, because then your passion for the project will (hopefully) show through during interviews. But really, doing both is the best option if you can swing it.

the more research experience you have the better, you don’t want to just do one summer and call it good.

wait let me be specific.
Yes I do plan to do research for the rest of 3 semesters but I just want to know if it’ll be better to do internship for my last summer or research (I’m planning to go to grad school)

Grad school in what? Internship in what?

There’s no universal answer but individual fields might have strong preferences for one or the other.
