Residency status.

Residency Status: Your residency status determination is pending receipt of additional documentation requested by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. We have sent this request for information via mail to the permanent address listed on your application. Please allow 2 weeks after application submission for receipt of this request. Documents should be submitted for review at least two weeks prior to the first day of classes. You will be billed as non-Florida for tuition purposes unless your in-state residency status has been verified prior to the start of the term. For questions or concerns regarding this status, please call 407-823-3538.

I don't get this. Do I need to send in additional documents to verify that I'm a Florida resident, or what? Do I just wait? It's been a little over 2 weeks since I've submitted my application.

If you choose to enroll in UCF you have to send in your documents at least two weeks before you begin classes (in order to pay in-state tuition). You can choose to send it now or wait until you decide which college you want to attend before sending the docs.

Hope this helps!

Yea, I just received a letter from them. I’ll wait to send it in when they make a decision whether they want to accept me or not first, lol. Just wondering why they needed more documents to verify my residency when I already provided the information when registering. Thanks!
