Residential College Assignments

desi06,

Berkeleyites live in Vanderbilt, along with Branfordians. If you browse the records of the Yale Daily News or the Yale Herald, you should be able to find some articles on Vanderbilt and Berkeley College in general.

All Yale freshmen are receiving the message you mentioned when trying to log onto Facebook, so it's not just you.

Have all of you ppl received the YDN Freshmen issue?!

Not yet--are we supposed to have?

Edgar '09 said 3 weeks ago that they were sent!

Nothing yet.

Haha. They were "sent."

To the depths of nothingness in the far corner of the admissions office.

If they were sent in the same manner as the IDs, we'll still be waiting when we're seniors.

To anyone who lived in Lanman-wright on the Pierson side:

Are the individual rooms inside our suites assigned? Or do we just choose a room when we get there? Thanks

My son is in TD. His letter from the Master was very clear that room assignment within the suite was one of the first collabortive decisions they would make as suitemates. I'm assuming it works the same way at the other colleges.

It looks like it depends on the college, then, because pretty much every room assignment I've seen up to now has already picked out who's in which precise room.

It's up to Pierson freshmen to assign themselves rooms. This differs by college though.

Does anyone know how it works for Swing Space? All freshmen are in quads, so I'm guessing our (bed)roommates have been assigned to us?

Ginny Weasley, are you who I think you are? Its hard keeping up with CC until I get my new notebook ....I have dial up (ARGGGGGGG!!!) but are you.........

TD thats cool.
