That depends, is that ebook stored on the local intranet at UT? Internet browsing and using stuff like BlackBoard and getting files from there do not count as part of your internet bandwidth limit.

Just start with Tier 1 and then upgrade later if you keep running out.

If you are living on campus you are going to need Tier I at a very minimum, simply put.

Should Tier 2 at 25GB per week be alright if I wanna play Xbox live?

Yes that would be way more than enough.

Alright thanks for the reply

I run Pandora constantly and went over the 4GB limit a lot last year. Not sure if 5GB would be that much better and I definitely hated when my computer slowed during finals when I was running Pandora to keep me awake. I’ll be going with tier 2 this year just in case.

Hey! I lived in a dorm on campus this year and paid for ResNet, but now what do I do to have internet around UT if I’m going to live off campus? Anybody??

You have an allotted 500mb for just being a student on the wireless campus network

You pay extra for dorm internet. They’re two separate things.

Ok I’m going to be THAT guy. Thinkin’ about playing World of Warcraft again during the school year. Which tier would you say would suffice for this addiction?
