Hello,
does anyone know of any good resources for studying for the Calc BC exam? Preferably online websites and pdfs, although
book recommendations are also appreciated. Also, if anyone knows where I can find step-by-step explanations for problems, that would be a godsend.
Thank you!
There’s always Khan Academy: https://www.khanacademy.org/math/ap-calculus-bc
Although not specific for AP Calculus BC, this site has great resources for studying Calculus: http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/
Thank you! The cheat sheets are going to be great for review
Try the past FRQ’s that have been released on the College Board’s website: https://apcentral.collegeboard.org/courses/ap-calculus-bc/exam/past-exam-questions
They’re very helpful and have all the explanations, so you can score yourself. Studying for the MC is a little harder because there’s not many released ones.
I’d check with your teacher to make sure you’re not doing them in class though – my teacher used them a ton, so if that’s the case for you then they won’t help as much.
Khan academy has great resources for AP Calc and I believe that they also go over some past FRQs. Practicing FRQs is also pne of the best ways to study and there are already answers and should be the most similar to the real test. My AP Calc BC class will also use the Barrons review book to study if you are interested in that.
