I was lucky enough to be chosen a likely admit but I have a kinda silly question about a follow up email that I got. A current student at Penn (and a representative of some program to reach out to likelied kids) emailed me to give me some information and to answer any questions I have.

I don't have any questions but I feel like it'd be rude to just not respond and I don't want to say anything stupid. Any advice...it's been over a week?
(sorry if all of this dumbness annoys you...I get caught up in simple things by overthinking a lot.)

I would use this opportunity to just ask questions. Are you seriously telling me that you know everything about Penn? If you’re not interested, at the very least thank them for the time and be polite.

As for not replying after a week… well if you’re feeling brave you can straight up tell them that you spent a long time coming up with questions. Otherwise you can just say you forgot to hit send or something.
