Restrictive EA

It is on the website:

Restrictive Early Action: November 1

Notre Dame has a Restrictive Early Action process.
•A student applying Early Action to Notre Dame may apply to other colleges with Early Action programs.

•A student applying Early Action to Notre Dame may not apply to any other college or university in their binding Early Decision process.

•Students do not indicate a first-choice preference by applying early, and still may wait until May 1 to indicate their decision to attend.

<a href="http://admissions.nd.edu/admission-and-application/prospective-first-year-students/deadlines/">http://admissions.nd.edu/admission-and-application/prospective-first-year-students/deadlines/</a></p>

Very interesting. I wonder if this will impact the number of applicants in EA round?

I have been wondering the same. I would deduce that ND is expecting less EA applications this season given they have eliminated kids applying ED to other schools.
