Resumes For Coaches

Hi everyone. So, I was wondering if it would be smart to type up a resume to send to the coaches that I want to take a look at me. If I were to do so, what should I include besides academics, my sport, jobs, etc. How long should it be?

And advice would be great!

Thanks

Look at the athletic resume thread below for some answers.

Any resume should be only 1 page. People dont go past the first page…

also the info you include depends on your sport so google to see what info is needed

Keep it to one page. Lead with the sports and a head-shot photo, contact info for you and coach(es). Identify high school. If applicable, include accomplishments of school and club, AAU team, camps for sport, awards, honors. After sports, list test scores and GPA, AP scores, include extracurricular, community service and employment.

That’s the aforementioned thread. Definitely a variety of opinions so you can evaluate all your options.
