I can't fathom that the AdCom even looks at the essay score.

At this level of testing results, you're in The Zone -- that is, The Zone of being good enough to be a contender at any college in the country. After being in The Zone, it all comes down to other things -- your ECs, your grades, your essays, your recs.

How the **** did you get an 11, EVERYONE with half a brain or more gets a 12! Most certainly retake it, otherwise you're in the 10th percentile for Ivy League prospects. You frankly don't even deserve to live.

But seriously dude, even watching Oprah is time better spent than worrying about crap like this.

Wait, wait, did I just say that? Scratch that, watching Oprah is an even bigger waste of time. Ummm, switch Oprah with the O'Reilly Factor, oh crap that's even worse, DAMMIT! WHY DO I THINK IN EXTREMES???

Yeah this is just a waste of thread space. Go onto another site retard OP. Anyone with half a mind will realize this guy's messing around--I mean, two posts? Get outta here.

^Well, if the OP is messing with us (who really knows, because there are people on CC that ARE this competitive), then shame on those of us, including me, who took the post seriously enough to answer it. Nonetheless, it was worth it because I've gotten a good laugh from reading some of the other replies.

why are people answering this question seriously?!?!?!?!

it's quite obvious that this person is lying. I wouldn't be suprised if it was an existing member mocking the people who ask if they should retake a 2300 (especially since this is a new accout). There's no doubt in my mind that this is a satire.

haha...no it's not me, gametheory. I would never do a thread like this becuase i would expect people to see right through it...i guess CC'ers have no common sense...just book smarts :P
