Got a 2330. CR:770, M:770, W: 790.

I am only a Junior (first time), and still have some time to retake. Is it worth it? Do colleges really see any difference among a 2330, a 2360, and a 2400?

you need to retake your life

I hate you J.Shi. There is no difference between a 2300 and a 2390. Unless you pull off a 2400, it is not worth it. You have a better chance of lowering your score than raising it.

lol......I agree with r3n

2320 junior retaking in March. Go ahead and retake if you know you can do better; there's really no reason not to (though admittedly I wouldn't retake a 2390, but whatever).

Aim for a 2600 next time, J. Shi.
A 2330 is *way too low * for top-college standards.
I am just joking with you, J. Shi. Good job on that score.
Improve your extra-curricular activities and explore something new.
You are through with standardized testing. Go sell those SAT books on Amazon to the next chump. ;)

go retake and donate collegeboard some more money.

Are you serious? This endless striving for useless perfection will get you nowhere. Let me ask you, do you really think a 2330 is a bad score? Or do you just want a pat on the back because you're too insecure? Stop being a little baby, and be happy with what you have. There is no difference between a 2330 and a 2360, or even a 2400. Get a grip.

First of all I would like to say congrats, but in all seriousness, whether or not you retake, it wouldn't have that much of an effect, even if you got 2400 the next time. Then again, if you wanna have some braggin' rights go ahead, knock yourself out. Just do what you think is right or what will make you happy. (we shouldn't be the ones swaying your decision)

Yes, I know some community colleges here that won't let you in the door with a 2340 SAT.

lol there's really no point in ever taking it again.
I AM SO UPSET!!! lol. Good job on the test, that's an amazing score, especially for the first time to take it. I took it again recently and didn't do that well at all, and I'm a Senior and it was my second time...

I'm so jealous! But good job...

Umm I think I read the title of this and rolled my eyes...

J Shi, I mean this is the nicest way possible...get a life! hahaah You have so many better things to do.

I'm going to suggest stoping with the sacasm because it's a genuine question, and that retakes aren't always for colleges, but rather personal satisfaction with the score :) Thanks, now everyone can go back to their mocking...

personal satisfaction should never make collegeboard money. cb is a bunch of demonic hags that will be burning in hell in a couple of years. let him save his money...

With your distribution it doesnt make sense. There is a "margin of error" of +/-30 points, so you'd functionally be gaining almost nothing. If you had two high scores and one very low score it'd make sense to try and raise that one, but with across the board high scores its worthless.

I'm thinking of retaking a 2300 since this was my first time and I got a 700 in math, which I know I can do better on. I'm not sure if you should retake it though, as all your scores are over 750 and therefore wont change much.

I got a 2230 and I'm sure as hell not retaking

The only reason I would retake is if I got perfect 800s on 2 sections and a 730 on the other - I would try to bump it to 750+ if that was the case.

only reason to retake is if you're trying to go to MIT. I heard you must have an 800 math section.

just die man
