<p>I am very happy with my composite score, which I think is sufficient for the schools Im interested in (Caltech, MIT, stanford, Ga Tech, as well as others....). I got a 9 on the essay though, which while isn't bad, it doesnt seem comparable to my composite score. Up until I got my essay score, I was sure I wouldn't retake the ACT, but is it worth doing so to try and improve essay score? At caltech, the essay is optional; gatech requires the essay; I haven't checked the others.</p>

<p>34 composite. 35 math, 36 science, 32 in both english and reading</p>
<p>I got 35/8 awhile ago, coupled with a 2330/9 on the SAT, and everyone's told me not to retake for the essay.</p>
