Retake CPT exam or not?

<p>So I took the CPT a while back when I didn't care about school much, and neglected it ( i took the practice test and founded it dumbfully easy, but didn't teach what was on actual test). And of course didn't do so well on it, and am now placed in preparatory classes, instead of full college level classes. Did I lose my chance at getting into medical school? Should I not take those prep courses over the summer and take the CPT test again till i get a higher score and than enter college with full college courses?</p>
