Need some input, I'm an international applicant from Canada and scored 95 percentile on the previous GRE biochem test. However, I feel that I could do better. I'm aiming for a top 10 PhD program, do you guys think its necessary for me to retake the exam? My GPA is 3.7 with good research and strong letters. I appreciate any feedback, molly and other senior posters advise please!

No. 95% is more than fine for a subject test.

In absolutely no circumstance will the difference between 95th percentile and anything higher make a difference in your acceptance.

The way I heard it, anything 90th percentile+ is viewed the same.

Thanks molly, will do accordingly.

Hey PB,
how many Qs did you miss to end up with a 95% percentile score?

I think I missed around 30 questions and left 15 or so blank.

don't take too many times on GRE~ur previously score has been recorded! and those will be submit when u apply schools~
