I scored a 800 on the SAT I Math, but I scored a 730 on the Math 1 SAT II. Should I retake Math 1 when I am taking Math II in November?

Also, most college application deadlines are on or before January 1, and since I am pursuing a major in an Engineering field, some colleges require either a Physics or Chemistry SAT II. If I take the Physics SAT II in January (Jan 28), will colleges accept that score as a fulfillment of the requirement because I am taking AP Physics this year and my teacher said that we will not be finished with the material on the SAT II until end of December or January.

No. Chances are, you will do better on math II than math I, as it is only slightly harder when you consider that you are taking a precalc class, in the usual case, concurrently.

I, myself, scored a 560 on Math I then scored a 780 on Math II by only prepping with the Barrons book and taking precalc Honors concurrently.

As for physics, i would suggest taking it in December if possible. The material on the test isn’t that difficult at all and the test itself is actually meant for an honors physics class. If you get a good review book, or even using simply using your textbook to learn extraneous topics, you can cover all the necessary material for the SAT II. Keep in mind also that the Curve for the physics subject test is extremely generous. You can get over 10 questions wrong and still get an 800, and even after that, the scores go down in pairs e.g 790 790 780 780 etc.

Take sat II math, I was in ap calc bc and ap stats last year and I got an 800 on sat II math without any studying, its easy and has a good curve. Dont even report sat I math or even bother retaking it at all if you got 800 on the sat math section… common sense.
