My son made a 34 composite on the ACT. His PSAT score was 209. However, he just got his SAT back and it was 620w 680 cr 690 math. For a total of 1990. He isn't looking at Ivies or high schools, probably just Baylor or TCU. Should he retake the SAT or maybe the SATII math or will his 34 on the math section of the ACT look good enough??

Over 200 views and no one has any thoughts. I was leaning toward having him take the Sat II math, but maybe that is unnecessary.

34 ACT is really good, but some schools require SATII. Especially if he wants to go into ENG or math, i would recommend he take the SATII Math IIC.

I’d just submit the ACT only and take the SATII math.

Definitely no need to retake the SAT The ACT is great. Check out the requirements at the schools he is interested in. Some recommend subject tests, some dont. If his schools want subject tests, have him take them. If he is taking any AP tests in may it might be a good time to have him take a few subject tests, as they correlate pretty highly with AP exams.
