Retake SAT?

I'm an Asian from Massachusetts, and I'm aiming for MIT / Stanford / CMU / Caltech / Cornell for CS.

I have a 36 on the ACT (36 Math, 36 Writing, 36 Science, 34 English - do colleges actually see these subscores?), so I'm definitely sending that score in.
I'm sending in three SAT Subject Test scores, 800 on Math II, 800 on Physics, 770 on Biology.

But I got only a 2150 on the SAT (bad day). I know I can do better, but I don't know if it's worth spending time actually studying for a standardized test (I didn't study for ACT or the SAT Subject Tests at all).

Also, I'm going for NMSQT. I have a 229 on the PSAT, which is probably good enough, but I heard they also consider SAT scores. Will my 2150 hurt my chances of being selected as a finalist?

So should I retake the SAT? Do colleges prefer this one? I know that there are a lot of people who haven't even heard of the ACT, so will sending in just my ACT score (and SAT Subject Test scores) hurt my chances of getting in?

Oh I forgot to say, my ACT Writing score is bad (8), and the Combined English/Writing score is 31 (still a 36 Composite though).

MIT / Stanford / CMU / Caltech / Cornell will consider your ACT and you will probably be fine. What was your SAT essay score?

Haha… It was a 6. Really bad day - started off with a headache, didn’t take any medication, got worse from there.

I know that if I take it again, I can do a lot better, but I’d rather not waste time studying for SATs.

Would it be better not to submit only ACT scores and no SAT Reason Test scores at all, or should I submit both?
