Should I retake the ACT / take the SAT?

Hey everyone, i'm a sophomore. I took the ACT freshman year, and got a 34. Should i retake it? Or do you recommend me take a SAT.

things to maybe keep in mind:
My goal college is MIT for compsci.
my freshman year gpa was 3.52 unweight and 4.21 weighted, not brilliant at all.
I'm likely to be on my schools science olympiad team, which has a track record of going to nationals and winning 1st-3rd yearly.
I'm also likely to photo editor of my school yearbook, with a possibility of being chief.
I'm an Eastern-Asian.
I'm going to take AP Language, IB English, AP Lit, AP Compsci, IB Compsci, Compsci HL2, Calc AB, Calc BC, Spanish 3 IB, Physics B/C, APUSH, AP Gov, and AP Econ.

do i have a chance?
thanks in advance!

Personally, I would not. You could spend more time on your EC’s and such. The difference between a 34, 35 and 36 is marginal. Retaking it will only lead to diminishing marginal returns.

Seeing as you’ve only taken it once, especially as a freshman, it certainly would not count against you if you wanted to.

If anything, not focusing on the ACT/SAT (unless you still need to take subject tests), you can work to raise your GPA.
