<p>DH9800, that seems to have been taken from Michele Hernandez's book. She described the admissions process at Dartmouth and what it takes to be a 1 in the applicant pool at Dartmouth. However, at Harvard, it probably takes more than top notch scores, great class rank, and a major accomplishment. These students ARE NOT virtual shoe-ins. </p>
<p>Case in point: GuitarManARS had some amazing accomplishments and still was not accepted, whereas others - who did not have as amazing accomplishments as GuitarMan did - were.</p>
<p>The best thing you can do as an applicant is to put your best foot forward in the application process.</p>
