I took Literature, Math 2, and French w/ Listening in November, but didn't do as well as I'd hoped. French was just horrible, but Literature and Math 2 were a decent 600 and 620, respectively. If I retake in January, will colleges still accept my scores? (I'm a Seinor, and apps are due in early Jan.). I was thinking taking Biology instead of French b/c I'm in AP Bio this year. I'm shooting for 680+ this time...applying to UVA, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, U of AR, Baylor, Rhodes, W&M, and perhaps Georgetown.

it all depends on the schools.
im not sure about the schools you're applying to but i know that for the UCs for example the app was due Nov. 30th and your last chance to get the scores to them is to take the SATs in December but they have to be on the list of the colleges that will receive the scores right when the scores come out. i doubt that your colleges will still be accepting scores for those taken in january but you'd have to check the admissions page to find out.

I know some schools say they'll take January SATs on a case by case basis. Contact them and find out, but if they say no, don't worry. Your scores are fine.
