Retaking 3rd time?

Got a 1930 this time with only a week of practice... I know I could have gotten 2000+ with more than two weeks of practicing... I didn't even look over a SINGLE vocab word...soo mad i wanted to atleast break the 2000 to relax.

my subscores were 600 cr 630 math & 700 writing

Does retaking 3 times look bad for colleges like the University of Florida? How will they view it? What about other colleges?

Lets say I get like a 2100 the third time, how will they view me compared to someone who got 2100 their first time.

Just don’t send all your scores.

I’m not sure but I think you have to send all your scores?? Can UF find out if you dont send in all of your scores?

Only the top schools force you to not use score choice, any other school is fair game

Check the Collegeboard’s website on Score Choice, as I recall there is a list of schools and their policies regarding it.

For CR, look at silverturtle’s SAT guide. That helped for me. I raised mine from March 620 to June 740.
Also, study the Hit Parade. And understand the meanings. Incorporate it into your syntax.

For Writing, practice writing, and make sure you know conventional english.

As for math, cmon man that’s disappointing. You’re indian. I’m indian too. I only had a 710 because I missed 4 questions, but hopefully in september I can nail and 800 so I can superscore 2290. But for math, just do practice math questions. SAT question of the day works best. But seriously dude, the math is all about reasoning, not curriculae like the ACT.

@vvip: I hope you remembered that the next SAT is October of 2011, NOT September.

@OP: Depends on if the school superscores, but usually, 3 or less times is all good. Remember, NOT all schools allow for score choice (ex. Cornell and UPenn, just to name two).
