Hey All,
I’m thinking about retaking the AP Macroeconomics exam. I took it last year and got a 4, but I know I could definitely retake and get a 5. Thoughts?

If you can do that without much studying-but it is not equal to a college level physics class and schools that give credit will usually do so for a 4 or 5.
Do any of the colleges you may attend care about whether you have a 4 or 5 (for subject credit or advanced placement purposes)?
If you want a 5 to increase your admission chances, no don’t take it. AP exams dont count much toward your admission and 4->5 difference is minimal.
BUT if you are retaking it so that you can receive a college credit, then sure go ahead and take it. Just keep in mind that most schools will take a 4.
Are the schools you want to attend take AP credits? If they don’t it would be silly to spend 90 bucks AND spend time to review just so you can get a 5.
