does retaking the SAT have any affect on you other than increasing your chances of doing better? Does it affect your chances for some colleges. I mean like will colleges look and see that "oh you took the SAT twice, thats no good" or anything of such sort? Because If so, I want to take it only once and do it the best I can. But if it doesn't matter how many times you take it, that means I can keep on taking it until I get my desired score, right?

For colleges that use score choice, you can choose to only send your best scores to them so they’ll never know how many times you took it. But some schools require you to send all of your scores, in which case it looks bad if you retake it more than 2-3 times.
