I'm trying to decide if I study to retake either the SAT or the ACT in the fall. I also don't know which test I should take again if I do so. Any advice would be helpful.

SAT (taken once, with some self-prep)
Critical Reading: 720
Math: 660
Verbal: 720
Total: 2100

ACT (taken 3 times..)
Composite 31
English 34
Math 30
Reading 35
Science 26
Writing sub. 10

ACT w/o writing taken as a state test with my school (I don't know if colleges will consider this?)
Composite 32
English 35
Math 31
Reading 34
Science 26

science scores are bad.. first time I took it I got a 30.. lame.

you can take both because they are on separate days!!!

true, but I want to focus on preparing for one specifically

blindkite, I'm in the same boat as you with a 1370/2090 and a composite of 31. I think it hinges on your SAT II scores-if they're really strong, focus on SAT Math this summer. If they're on the weaker side, go for the ACT Science section. Best of luck (though those scores are pretty solid for almost every university)

Are those ACT your super score??? If you got a 30 on your ACT once, then that should be your science score.

SAT II scores are as follows:
Math II: 720
Lit: 740
US Hist: 770

are my SAT IIs strong enough?

I got a 30 the first time I took the ACT, with a 30 on the science section on that test

instead of focusing exclusively on either the SAT or ACT, I'd focus on the SAT Math, and the ACT Science, and take them both.
