<p>My father used to work at a college, but later left and now works for a corporation. Is he considered "retired from a college or university"? He's not retired, but he did at one time work for a college.</p>

<p>I would say he is considered retired only if he worked at the iniversity long enough to earn a pension. Otherwise, I would considered him classified as a former employee.</p>
