Reusme and/or cover letter: time management, working full-time+student

Hey all,
I was wondering when and where could I mention that I worked 30-40 hours a week while attending school with 5-6 classes? I also did an internship and still participate in extracurriculars/volunteer activity while doing so, so I have a lot on my plate. This directly relates to my great time management and organizational skills as well as the ability to prioritize tasks since I can still manage a 3.8+ GPA though my life is extremely chaotic.

Would I put this in my cover letter or is there an appropriate spot on the resume? I wanted to save my cover letter for my specific experience and personality to shine (since this position is a very specific position for my major and the company looks for personality), so I'm not sure where to put what.

Thanks!

I wouldn’t care to see someone trying to make a blatant point on their resume that they worked full-time while in college full-time (I’m an HR manager and worked full-time through college). You can list the job under Work Experience and the school under Education so the manager can infer overlap, but beyond that the number of hours you worked would not be as relevant as the skills and experience you bring to the table. You only have a few seconds to impress a hiring manager, so stick to what’s most important for the job at hand.

You can touch on time management in the cover letter, where you can better articulate the number of things you did while maintaining a respectable GPA.
