Hum 1 I had stephen cox. I think he is a better lecturer than Chodorow (I had him for hum 2), However, Chodorow gives a study guide for his final which i found extraordinarily helpful. His study guides usually have 60-80 terms and 6-8 essay prompts which you will have to define like 10 terms and write two essays (so the guide is tedious). You have to go to class to get the correct term definitions by him, which is the annoying part because I believe he is a much more boring lecturer. If you have a bunch of friends I would suggest taking the same professor for support with your essays and with studying because different professors have different emphasis. So, for the study guide I would probably take Chodorow, but Cox has classes that you can actually stay awake in. I never had Edwards

Oh, okay thank you!!
What are the different emphases of each professor?
And how hard are finals? Because, with my current schedule, my Hum 1 and math 10c final are on the same day :(

The final is rough, but i had a Hum final and immediately after a 20c final…i just had to make sure that i was prepared a couple days before. I dont remember what each professor picks…all will have stories from king james bible, old plays like antigone and clouds, maybe dante (depending on the prof), maybe the odyssey…each professor picks the texts, but they will all go over old greek plays, the bible, and a couple other pieces. I believe Edwards focuses on more bible stories, but it varies year by year
