The AP exams are about 10 weeks away, which really isn't that much time. This years seems to be flying by! Anyhow, last year I began to study a few weeks before the exams, and I feel that was painful and it hurt me in the long run. As a way of learning from my mistakes, I was planning to start reviewing March 1st. However, some people have said that it is way too early. So my question is: When do you plan to start reviewing for the AP exams, and how many are you taking? I am scheduled to take 7, which is why I was planning to start so early.

Thanks, everyone.

If you need to prioritize some over others, and are a senior who has decided what university to attend, check the university to see which AP tests give the most worthwhile credit.

I’m a junior, so I’m afraid there really aren’t particular ones that I need to focus on more than others (except physics, but I can time in school each day to study for that). Thanks for the advice though.

March 1st isn’t too early. Learning over time is more beneficial and effective (and lasts more permanently) than last-minute studying.

Worst case scenario: You finish reading your review books with two (or however many) weeks to spare before the exams. What do you do? Start reading again. Take practice tests and fine-tune the areas where you need the most help/work.

Thanks. I think you’re right. I’ll stick to March 1st :D

Why not start now?
