As a working parent, I need to block my schedule for possible revisit days. Does anyone know specific revisit days for the prep schools? All can be listed.

hi everyone! just a question for those who’ve been/know about this, how long do revisits typically take? as in, would it be wiser to block off an entire day for a single school, or are they by the hour/half day etc.?

Revisit days are pretty much the bulk of entire day.

@altablue The Revisit Days we attended were full days; two of them also included evening programming the day before. I would plan on a full day for each.

@altablue , at our school, they are a full day. Students shadow a student and have some special events. An athlete may get to practice with the team. There is separate programming for parents and lots of opportunities to meet faculty, coaches, health services, etc. I believe students also are invited to spend the night before in the dorm. Personally, I think these are the most informative visits and well worth the time. All those questions you wanted answers to but didn’t want to ask earlier. – now is the time! The objective is to figure out if this could be home for the next 4 years, so you don’t want to rush it.

In our experience they are full day programs.
