<p>I know Rice expects 940 students to matriculate. Does anyone know how many they actually accepted?</p>
<p>Also, I got waitlisted and I'm trying to figure out the feasibility of actually getting in. Does anybody have any helpful information?</p>

<li><p>I don’t know the final acceptance rate. But in January, the assistant director of admissions stated that they anticipated admitting 20% of applicants this year.</p></li>
<li><p>Last year, I don’t think anyone was accepted off the waitlist (we overenrolled). Hopefully that is not the case this year.</p></li>

<p>Well, I’m in the same boat as you - waitlisted.</p>
<p>According to another poster on some other thread, last year they accepted no one off the waitlist. 
But things could change this year!</p>
