Rice App

I’m doing the Rice app online. Are they known to prefer print or online?

I did online. They don't specify either, and I live in Connecticut. It's a long distance for snail mail to travel, and a lot of opportunity for it to get lost.

I'm doing mine on paper.

I doubt they really care.

Do you still have to do 'the box' if you do it online??

i'm doing mine online... and i assume yes about the box online but does anyone really understand that? i'm so confused about what to put there!!

there is no box online. That's only if you send in common app, which I am doing. Just fill the box with something taht you like or represents your characteristics.

No, there is a box for the online application. The box is on one of the supplement forms that you ahve to fill out. I think it's on your signature form. I'm sure they're not expecting some kind of artistic masterpiece in that tiny 3x3 in box, just doodle or something ;)

by fill out i mean print out and then fill out.

isn't that for the common app supplement?

Yes. It's also a famous part of the Rice application.

On line is fine, and easier to read. Many accepted last year did on-line apps. You will need to print and mail in the "box" page, as it is also the required signature page.
