My Rice interview was really relaxed @ Starbucks...

It was my 1st ever interview and I didn't know what to expect...but I think she asked ordinary questions that really wouldn't make a student completely baffled. I talked for about 1 hour and 15 min -- the last 15 was me asking questions and discussing more about the school. I walked out really pleased.

WUStL is a rather short interview, and kind of casual. Expect maybe 30min - 1hr. Nothing too scary.

i had both rice and washu interviews. my washu interview was an on-campus one during the summer, while the rice one was alumni during just about a month ago. while your interviews are probably alumni, i'll address both of those interviews. for washu, i had a student interview me, and it was VERY informal. we sat on a bench in the hallway and just chatted in general about interests, activities, etc.

for rice interview, an alumni interviewed me in a starbucks as well and asked me some general questions such as mentioned above. it was fairly informal and lasted about 50 min. my advice is, be knowledgeable about the school so that you can converse with your interviewer when he discusses something about the school and also have some good questions to ask him.

good luck!

do u need to submit supplement part 2 before u do the interview?

no you don't
