<p>Is it true that for the "why this particular study" essay, you shouldn't even mention the college itself (like college of natural sciences for example) and you should focus entirely on why you picked a certain major?</p>
<p>^just focus on the major. the school should be a party of your why rice essay. thats why i was confused when i read yours</p>
<p>blueducky, I did not mean to NEVER mention it. I just meant for that particular essay, dont focus on the school (as in the division) and its offerings, focus more on you, what you like and how it pertains to that school</p>
