Rice Info Session

<p>There is going to be a rice info session in my town on thursday through the exploring educational excellence organization</p>

<p>Exploring</a> Educational Excellence-Information Sessions</p>

<p>Have any of you attended one of these before? How was it? Was the information / opportunity to meet school officials valuable, or was it something that a trip to the rice.edu homepage could have just as easily covered? The main reason i'm wondering is because the meeting is about 30-45 minute drive from my house (despite being "in-town"), so if somebody truly had a bad experience, i'd appreciate the heads up so i can save myself the trouble. Thanks!</p>

<p>It is the same thing as an on campus info session. I wouldn't go just to meet an admissions officer, as there were lines of 20 people for each one. But Rice tracks interest so it cant hurt you to go.</p>
